THE FIRST DAY

THE SECOND DAY

Also known as the Dead Woman’s Pass, which is located at an altitude of 4200 meters. It is a difficult climb, but once you reach the top the rest of the day will be all downhill. Once you arrive at the camp, you will again have a refreshing massage and a delicious dinner before a well-deserved rest. This can be one of the most difficult days on this hike. THIRD DAY

The third day begins again with a great breakfast, then a hike up to 3900 meters to the Runcuracay pass. To then descend for 2 hours to the incredible archaeological site of Sayacmarca. Where you will have time to explore the ruins and enjoy the spectacular countryside. Also, there are many photo opportunities here. After a short break, you will resume the hike to the third pass, Phuyupatamarca. The pass is located at 3800 meters above sea level in the semi-tropical jungle. From here you will continue along the trail to Winay Waynba, the last camp on the Inca Trail trek. Enjoy a well-deserved massage after an eight-hour walk.

FOURTH DAY

It is here where you will enjoy your first view of the wonderful citadel of Machu Picchu. One of the reasons to visit Peru is the views of the citadel that you will get from this hike. Take some time to marvel at the view and take photos before heading down to Machu Picchu. After a short break, you will begin your two-hour tour of the complex accompanied by your guide, who will give you a complete history of the site and answer any questions you may have. When you finish your tour in Machu Picchu, this will mark the end of your luxury Inca Trail trek.
