The local people will offer you different types of delicious Andean potatoes and corn to taste. The next stop on our amazing journey into the valley will be the pretty little village of Pisaq, which has a large daily market full of goods for both tourists and locals. At this market you will find villagers, who come down from the mountains, to sell their home-grown produce and unique handmade arts and crafts. This market is highly recommended for having a wide variety of interesting souvenirs at great prices. The ruins were built in a strategic position overlooking the valley and now providing stunning scenery while you pass the marvels such as, the Sun Temple, cemetery, water ducts and agricultural terraces. After you finished exploring the ruins at Pisaq, you will continue to travel through the beautiful valley to Ollantaytambo, one of the last Incan refuges during Spanish colonization.
